The malicious prosecution of Attorney General Tish James is baseless.

And the indictment is not worth the paper it is written on.

Thune is gambling on the idea that the median voter does not have even the most basic knowledge of the bill that Trump and the Republican Party just passed, which made reducing access to health care a core means to pay for tax cuts.

Utterly impossible to argue otherwise.

Even if you laughably believed Trump wasn’t in the files, Johnson is protecting everyone in them!

You're the Speaker of the House of Representatives, doing nothing while a Mad King steals your constitutional authority & violates the law every day.

Also, you control a majority in Congress & can't keep the government open.

Also, stop lying in front of microphones every day.

Mike Johnson: "We said, 'don't sit on your couch and play video games'- by the way, also not a talking point. There was an AEI study, I think one of the organizations that polled this, and most of these young men who are not working are sitting around literally playing video games. Get back to work"

New in PN: Trump's invasion

"The Trump administration’s war on cities just entered a new, more terrifying phase. What stage of fascism is it when the president defies a court order and sends troops into a city anyway? Because as of Sunday, that’s where we’re at."

This weekend marked a major escalation of his campaign of terror.

"‘F***ing Dumbass’: Trump Officials Want Howard Lutnick Sidelined After Epstein Comments"

Trump's commerce secretary called Epstein ‘the greatest blackmailer ever' & his colleagues are now super mad at him.

The Trump administration claims Jeffrey Epstein didn’t blackmail anyone. His commerce secretary just called Epstein ‘the greatest blackmailer ever.’

History rhyme: the 1919–20 Palmer Raids jailed thousands w/o warrants. Public backlash and a flopped “May Day” scare killed mass deport plans, and helped launch the ACLU. Repression met resistance, and lost.

The last time a president and his cronies - including a young J. Edgar Hoover - tried to mass deport Americans they didn't like, the nation stopped them, as I discuss here.

For the love of God, it was days ago that Trump put every officer in the armed forces in a room & told them he plans to use soldiers against American citizens."

ER delays come from staffing shortages & hospital closures, not immigrants. Undocumented people are barred from Medicaid/ACA and still pay billions in taxes. Real fix: hire, fund, expand coverage.

Vance: "If you're an American citizen & you've been to the hospital in the last few years, you've probably noticed wait times are especially large & very often somebody who's there in the ER is an illegal alien. Why do those people get healthcare benefits at hospitals paid for by American citizens?"
