I don’t know if I agree me saying that makes those things indistinguishable in the context of what we’re talking about (Bryce’s perceived fixation) but in a general sense i take your point & I’m certainly not here to defend Neale Jones.

No I think that’s actually accurate. For example most of Captial’s stable of professional lizards are ex Labour staffers. Ben Thomas & Fletcher Tabuteau are the only exceptions if I look at their website.

Yep. Unlike Bryce Edwards I don’t think any is worse than the other, their motivations are the same. If you pay enough they’ll push your line. Agree they shouldn’t be used for commentary on RNZ as that commentary is highly likely to just be in service of some dubious client. Ditto RW think tankers.

Yeah that’s fair I’m certainly not here to defend lobbyists but it seems to be specifically Neale Jones he fixates on, the rest of them (Thomas etc) not so much. Appears personal.
