I have another question: what the fuck is Xi doing in South Korea?
This is when I knew Xi was going to take this babbling fool to the cleaners, and us in the process.

The saddest part about it is that it's actually true.

If EU leaders don't want to be treated like impotent weaklings - they should stop acting like ones.

USSR was backstabbed by nazis almost 2 years after USSR helped the nazis to start WW2 in the first place

Detaching that military theater from WW2 and calling it a separate "great patriotic" war is a crucial part of greater ruzki narrative to paint themselves as victims in WW2
No country invaded Russia except for Germany invading Russia in 1941 and marching almost all the way to Moscow.

The running joke here in Ukraine is "well, at least USA isn't bombing us", which is often being replied to with "yet"
"The Kremlin on Sunday welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump's new national security strategy and said it largely accorded with Russia's own perceptions, the first time that Moscow has so fulsomely praised such a document from its former Cold War foe."

It's not the first time Tucker defends fascism.
Tucker Carlson has hosted Hitler apologists on his show. Now he says Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a pastor who tried to kill Hitler, was not being Christian. He isn't making a theological argument. He's just morally inverting World War II and the Holocaust, to make space for their villains to rise again.

The real, sincere "NATO made them do it" folks are one of the most dumbest idiotic braindead imbeciles to ever walk the face of the Earth.
The “NATO made them do it” crowd also likes to pretend that Ukraine wanted to be in NATO, which is what the Russians invaded to prevent. Except this has the causality in reverse as well.

This wishful thinking will carry on, unfortunately. I've yet to see a single EU leader who'd openly acknowledge the dreadfulness of the situation.

Apart from Pavel, maybe.
The 2025 National Security Strategy is an extremely welcome document because it makes it impossible for anyone to continue to think it's all basically business as normal. There's been a lot of dangerous wishful thinking going on in many quarters; that's not an option now.

An awful tale from free Donetsk region which illustrates perfectly the horrors of war.

In Kostiantynivka, a civilian lost his brother, killed by Russia in an FOV drone attack. On the way back from his funeral, this man was also hit by an FPV.
He survived but his leg's broken.

Repeat this as often as you can, to everyone you know;

If the parties do not accept an unconditional ceasefire, this means they want war.

Ukraine has said yes 3 times this year = Ukraine wants peace.

Russia rejects everything = Russia wants war.
⚡️Ukraine will not accept any peace deal requiring territorial concessions, Syrskyi tells UK broadcaster.

“There are no pauses, no delays in (Russia's) operations. They keep pushing their troops forward to seize as much of our territory as possible under the cover of negotiations," Syrskyi said.
