"Why do you like graphics programming so much?"

As a baby someone jingled some car keys in front of me and I've wanted to replicate how shiny they were ever since

Or it could be a free-for-all akin to Fallout 76. The important part is that there are "NPCs" at the event and they like to "glitch" and behave weirdly

Concept: A Renaissance Faire but specifically modeled after a buggy Bethesda-style open world game.

Someone gets to be the Player while everyone else tries their best to be an NPC. When the Player finishes their quest they give away their Player status to someone else there and the cycle continues

Can't relate, sorry. My tabs are "Music, Social Media, Something I'm reading" at most

Final Fight 3 gets bonus points for accidentally inspiring one of my OCs. One of my characters was a blonde street kid with electric powers. Little did I know that description perfectly fits Dean from Final Fight as well

SoR2 because I played through what felt like nearly all of it in co-op during a retro gaming event at a library.

Final Fight 3 because I grew up with the Wii U and was desperate for anything to play on that thing, lol

I tend not to like standard old-school beat-em-ups... well, it's less of a dislike and more of a disinterest. But I do have some good memories associated with them. Specifically Streets of Rage 2 (duh) and Final Fight 3.

Anyone have any good Mastodon instances I could join? I don't really like the place but I'll take what I can get

*sigh*

I REALLY don't wanna have to transfer my "Music This Image Makes" thread to yet another website, but I have a feeling Bluesky's gonna kick the bucket soon. The moderation situation is getting dire

I wasn't expecting Parappa 2 to go all-in on forced minigames, what the fuck is this

I find the idea of making food by accident funny. Like "whoops, I left the milk out and got cheese" or "oopsie, these grapes turned into wine somehow"

Just noticed some new stretchmarks on my boobs! Yay for HRT! 🥳

I wanna play N64 games but doing so without the OG three-prong controller just... feels wrong. Like yeah, there's "better" options - I could just use my DualSense and rebind everything - but then I have to get used to something that just doesn't work as well in my brain

I forgot to post about this publicly, but my mom's in the hospital right now. She should be okay but I'm still lonely and scared in the meantime. Friends, please lend me your strength...

If an AI-powered robot could somehow arrange a court case by itself, in person, and successfully argue in front of everyone that it is perfectly sapient, I would reconsider the validity of the AI industry. I'd probably still conclude that it's unnecessary and harmful, but it would make me think.
