Kristi Noem's goons raided a car wash in August and shattered a guy's leg. They then held him in custody under 24/7 supervision in a California hospital, hiding him using various fake names. They interrogated him but did not charge him. It took a judge's order to make ICE let him go.

Without due process there’s no way to prove whether anyone they drag away is criminal, innocent, immigrant, citizen, tourist, public official - or who they are at all. It’s distressing that so many can’t or won’t engage the minimal critical thinking skills needed to see this.

I visited the apartment building ICE raided on Tuesday today. Story to come, but you can walk right in. Half of the apartments have no doors on them. Children's stuff abandoned in some flats. *Citizen* residents told me they were arrested and held for hours in zipties. This is America
