There is nothing that demonstrates more strongly that America is firmly in a post-Christian era … than the fact that believers (even clergy) are arguing over whether hungry and marginalized people are worth feeding.

He ends his tweet with "stop smoking crack."

There are 22 million American households receiving SNAP benefits for groceries, at $4200 per year on average.
Try to get your head wrapped around how many pantries you can stock with $4200 dollars in properly shopped groceries.
Any American who has been receiving $4200 dollars per year of free groceries and does NOT have at least 1 month of groceries stocked should never again receive SNAP, because wow, stop smoking crack.

It was a chilly, cloudy night here, but we had almost 100 trick or treaters. 4 teen boys came at 9 pm & sang Christmas Carols for 10 minutes in harmony... To convince me to give them the rest of the candy& turn out my lights. (I did!)They ran off into the darkness shouting "Merry Christmas!'

New proposed constitutional amendment: if Congress can't with together to keep government open, the ensuing shutdown triggers new elections. The old representatives are all kicked out, new elections held within three weeks.

The first time that happened would be the last time.
