The things I didn't like about Glass Onion were all reigned in and I genuinely think Benoit Blanc continues to be one of the best representations of queer men in a way I can't quite articulate. I feel seen by him in a way so many "better representation" characters don't.

My years too late Game of Thrones hot take is that s7 was worse than s8.
At least it was stupider. Yes, 8 has plenty of stupid but s7e3 and s7e6 alone have more concentrated aggressive stupid in them than the rest of the show combined.

I think the biggest issue in del Toro’s Frankenstein is a sudden shift in Victor’s attitude right near the end that feels like it comes out of nowhere. The scene would be very powerful if it was earned, but without that, it feels a little too simple.
