This is a very general problem with all the Trump admin "let's bring back the 19th century!" plans: you can't do it. The 19th century in 2025 just looks like your country falling apart.

It’s worse than that. 19th c. medicine in the 21st c. won’t produce 19th c. outcomes. Not when airplanes mix ppl globally on a daily basis, when pop. density has risen to dizzying heights, when human communities have encroached on animal habitats to unprecedented levels…

Technically those of us who are supposed to be represented by Cronk are really not even half represented by him. He is totally absent from this place, and aside from a couple of votes that match his Fairbanks area constituents, he just ignores us and never speaks to anyone or responds to us.

Yes. Our borough mayor is progressive with a capital P. His dream team assistants and advisors are amazing progressives and all very Alaskan, very Fairbanksian. This did not come out of nowhere although many of us are over the moon about Pruhs being defeated/ O'Neall winning in the city race.

During a military-style raid on a building in Chicago’s South Shore, one resident heard a knock on his door.   It wasn’t the feds — it was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for help.

They are a barrier, but the charter representatives seem to think it is just a barrier for people with economic constraints. It is of course also a barrier for people who are full-time caregivers for family members or new parents or on-call professionals, etc... Good for the Northern Justice Project

All of my Pearl Creek kids are grown up, but two relied heavily on the nursing staff. One has Type 1 Diabetes and one had multiple handicaps/behavioral and neurogical issues. They were very well supported and were able to access their education with neighborhood peers. This plan ain't that! 🤬
