Yeah. Basically after No Child Left Behind state schools went from state funded to state assisted. I went to a small school in state, because I could get an apartment with some roommates and drive. If I’d been born 10 years earlier I probably wouldn’t have any debt

From what they’re estimating, just refraining from ChatGPT does more than all those other steps combined. It uses something like 6 bottles of water for every query. And we already had Google. No one needs this

Think of the language arts as “explaining your work.” That’s the whole thing. What’s happening now is a bunch of rich people think they can make linear algebra possess this skill. I see a surprising number of Chemists supporting AI, but it makes sense because it’s science, and language is art

I am autistic/ADHD and was misdiagnosed as bipolar for years. I also hate boredom; I just didn’t get the “good at math” autism. I got “that weird kid reads the dictionary for fun” kind. I also had a scholarship but I still have debt because 0 parental support
