Six Feet Under
Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:

What's the *best* ending to a show you've ever seen? Quote/reply etc

The Bears don't really deserve 2nd seed, but the Eagles don't deserve it harder, so I guess we'll take it.

The weak response from Can, EU and UN to Trump's flagrant crimes in Venezuela is striking.

It exposes that much of the world has been cowed.

Most notable exception: the Latin American left.

That is why the Trump Admin has gone to enormous lengths to defeat the left across the continent. 1/3

It's that time of year again: being too distracted thinking "that's Adam Scott" to catch the name of the tax prep service he's doing voice-overs for.

Even by our own horrendous domestic standards, killing 40 people to make 2 arrests would be a heads-rolling scandal. Calling this a "law enforcement operation" is a sick joke.
NYT:

At least 40 people were killed in the US attack on Venezuela, including military personnel and civilians.

If you're a Venezualan who hates the Maduro regime, whose side do you find yourself on this morning? The obvious answer is pretty damning to anyone defending Trump's insane actions on their behalf.
VP Delcy Rodriguez, whom Trump indicated earlier today was collaborating with the US government, is live on television right now.

Earlier reports that she's in Russia are false. She's in Caracas with the rest of the cabinet.

Tonight, the President of the United States has launched an unconstitutional war of aggression, dooming another generation to spill their blood for oil, and lay waste to a sovereign nation.

I demand that Congress exercise its power, halt this conflict, and impeach this war criminal president.

Trump and his MAGA enablers lied to Congress and launched illegal, unconstitutional strikes to facilitate regime change in Venezuela. Congress must reassert its war powers authority immediately to halt further military action before we’re pulled further into another senseless war.

"Mostly aligned with this, just a few notes" is a cowardly response to this thoughtless act of aggression.

Stephen Schwartz is backing out of a Washington National Opera gala, because the Kennedy Center "no longer represents the apolitical place for free artistic expression it was founded to be."

That wording is important...

I don't see a problem here.
The "responds with defiance" part was Trump calling the reporter and saying a lot of alarming shit, which the article quotes at length. Biden would not have done that. Headlines don't tell the whole story. You get the whole story by reading the whole story.

I ate an entire box of these over an 18 hour period. I am cursed with enough mental math ability to multiply every number in the second photo by 16 without a calculator, but to preserve my self-esteem, I will only focus in two easy ones:
16 grams if protein!
64% of my daily iron!

If you have to keep saying "make some noise" to the audience, maybe you aren't doing a very good job.

Mickey Rourke is facing eviction from a 3 bedroom rental house. It's incredible how he managed to ruin his career twice. He hasn't had a major theatrical release since 2014.

I'm generally not pessimistic about the movie theater business, but I had never really looked at year-to-year numbers for total tickets sold.

You may think people on this site are stupid, but we have all read *breaking news* from your outlet! If Trump says something newsworthy on a podcast, it can be quoted pending further details. Obviously.
There is a culture of immediate gratification that isn't satisfied by rigorous fact-gathering and editing. The internet runs fast and shallow.
