The thing about preordering Analogue gear is that when it finally shows up, it feels like a gift from the person you were several years ago.

The answer is always and unequivocally: yes, absolutely
Every time I leave the house for anything but work, I ask Mark @cdi.bsky.social if he’s embarrassed of me because I dress like a tween boy

“This system will grind you up and spit you out and if the only thing you’ve got to wedge into the gears is a thick, beautiful pecker, then you’d be a fool to let social convention hold you back.”
IDK why we labeled this as a Fucking Day? It's just
@jasonkpargin.bsky.social talking about a man showing off adorable baby chicks on TikTok. Hmmm, guess we must be missing something? Anyway, we made this completely innocent article FREE!! 1900hotdog.com/2025/11/fuck...

Today's upload is a rip of the second Atari E.R.I.C. point of purchase laserdisc. This disc ran inside an in-store kiosk and was driven by pressing keys on an Atari (likely 800?) computer, which then jumped to various time codes via a serial connection to the LD player. archive.org/details/atar...

There are three men outside my office window cutting down a tree, and my ass is sitting at a computer like "I have a real job too! I type on the computer for a living!" like a complete asshole.

There's a thread at work where folks are trying to get Claude/Cursor to stop praising everything they type, and it's genuinely incredible to me that they are dumping paragraphs of text into a markdown file begging an LLM text editor to stop s'ing their d's.

Ripped some laserdiscs today.

Finally found a copy of the second laserdisc for Atari E.R.I.C. in-store computer sales kiosks from the early 80s. I have a decent rip of disc 1 up on IA; I’ll try to get this one up soon too. archive.org/details/atar...

One last disassembly of the Amiga 3000 to recap the video circuit, then I’m slapping a Video Toaster 2.0 in here and calling it done!

Today's VHS upload is The Value of Telling the Truth. It's about a lying little piece of shit and how all the world suffers for his hubris. Worth watching for the amazing synthesizer track used for the title. archive.org/details/valu...

My wife stashed her high protein breakfast ramen next to the good whisky I keep hidden from guests. A condemnation of us both.
