Veteran. I want better for our country. Happily married. No DMS. Here for thoughtful engagement and democracy. Scammers and fake profiles need not follow. I will not follow back. I’m smart that way.
Oh if only people would stop listening to what this administration says on right wing media and actually pay attention to what they do.
I’m thinking this morning about all the people I spoke to last year who were absolutely convinced, and tried to convince me, that Trump would be antiwar compared to Biden and Harris.

In the past week alone he has attacked Nigeria and then Venezuela and also threatened to attack Iran (again).

Key word in Cardinal News article “suggesting”. Many studies after the fact of the non-voters suggest Trump would have still won. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/26/u...

Umm you’re preaching to the wrong women here. And frankly there are GOP women who are fine with what’s happening. We need men who believe the same as us to rise up too and to talk to the much younger men who gave Trump the win in several states. They’ll listen to you. They’re not listening to us.

Trump blamed Ukraine for the war within days of taking office & cut off planned aid in early March. He buckled to Putin’s propaganda & thought his “buddy” would acquiesce. His current milk toast threats are laughed at by Putin & those in power in Russia. He failed miserably and it’s his war now.
Judging from today's Russian papers it doesn’t sound like Donald Trump’s reduced deadline will persuade Moscow to end the war in Ukraine: “The ultimatum was not taken seriously. Not 50 days, not 10-12 days.” “Moscow has no intention of caving to pressure.” #ReadingRussia
What are the Russian papers saying about the new Trump deadline?

Nothing like saying we can’t take poor refugees anymore while destroying basic birth control intended to help them be more self sufficient by controlling family size to what they can afford and support.

Agree. I’m hoping the contractors keep running into problems and cost overruns and it never gets fully restored. Transfer his library a torn up pice of crap aircraft.

A gift that taxpayers then have to spend millions to refurbish and maintain isn’t really a gift is it?

I've noticed that as the United States has become increasingly dishonest and corrupt, cover-ups no longer need to be conducted in secret.

Thankfully there are a few republicans with a teeny bit of moral backbone… or pretending they have some so they don’t lose their purple seat. 🙄

Truth.
Virtually every MAGA Republican will now fall in line, and there won't be a passing second of introspection or contrition among those who credulously adopted the "Donald the Dove" nonsense, who, it should be said, helped bring us to where we are today.
The whole idea of Trump as antiwar rests on a confused reading of his hatred of multilateralism, the international order and the Deep State. He doesn't hate those things for good "dovish" reasons. He hates them for degenerate, corrupt reasons. Here's a corrective. 5/

This is a beautiful human whose father just wanted a better life for his kids. Not gang members. Not murderers. We have lost our decency.
He was sleeping on a concrete floor with no mattress and just a foil blanket? Is this how we treat human beings?

Bannon doing his Russian pandering routine to keep up the revenue streams. He’s a patsy. No veteran I know who hasn’t had his brain addled by Faux News thinks Putin is our friend. They all stand with Ukraine and our NATO allies.

This needs to be the norm everywhere. Make housing projects easier and non-political. The best thing we can do for struggling young people and families is give them affordable housing. Sacramento has had consistent drops in rent. Isn’t that what we want everywhere?

And I’d wager we’re losing the doctors who aren’t greed or ultimate power driven and would have been willing to serve in rural places and small hospitals where they are most needed. Big cities won’t lose, the rest of the country will.

Duh. Says the very stable genius.
Trump: "I'm not happy with what Putin is doing. He's killing a lot of people and I don't know what the hell happened to Putin. I've known him a long time ... we're in the middle of talking and he's shooting rockets into Kyiv and other cities. I don't like it at all. I'm surprised."

Taxpayers give over a million annually for him to pay his staff salaries. If his chief of staff doesn’t provide him with a daily news brief, he should fire them. In the military all commanders are expected to read daily news stories. Convenient ignorance is negligence.
TAPPER: I have a hard time thinking that if a D president held a dinner for investors in his cryptocurrency, you wouldn't be outraged

MIKE JOHNSON: Look, I don't know anything about the dinner. I was a little busy this past week, so I'm not going to comment on something I haven't even heard about

I love Congressman who deliberately live under a hide me from Trump actions rock. That pesky Constitution that requires you to hold other branches accoubtable… who needs that?
Asked on CNN about Trump's controversial crypto dinner this week, US House Speaker Mike Johnson said:

"...I'm not going to comment on something I haven't even heard about. I'm not sure who was there or what the purpose was..."
