Kinda dislike Tidal's new desktop interface :/ It used to be simple and clean, everything you'd use was one click away. Now, it's hidden in a sub-menu to highlight their *upload* and *explore* tabs...

In dire need of a good solution for getting reminders. Calendar apps aren't really elegant when it comes to saying "hey by the way, check out this thing this month".
I think I'll just whip something out myself and learn Curses at the same time...

Gaming on Linux is weird haha.
Tried Neurodeck the other day, couldn't make the "native Linux" build to work. The buttons on the title screen didn´t work, and there was no sound.
But, lo and behold, installing the Windows build and running it through Proton, it's seamless and works super well.

Ngl I'm so glad I have enough technical knowledge so that I can understand the bottlenecks and optimize data analysis code, other than "just throwing more ressources at the problem"

Funny how music I listened to as a kid on shitty YouTube compilations, obscure pirating websites and webradios would pop up in my life yeaaars later. It's still cool to listen to those low quality MP3 downloads from back then 😁

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I think Mass Effect 3 has the worst gameplay of the trilogy.
I'm very frustrated because I loved ME1 and 2, I want to love ME3, but the gameplay is so frustrating, it feels unresponsive, buggy, unfair and hand-holding.

Pro-tip: if you think your music sounds flat, lacks depth, and you're on a streaming service, check the "volume normalization" option.
Having it enabled flattens the whole dynamic range. I found that disabling it on Tidal led to having CD-quality as I expected all these years

So I opened it, cleaned everything and repasted it.
I'm very surprised at the amount of dust/lint there was, and how messy the previous paste was.

Fell back into webradios and playing CDs on my computer. It feels so much better, so much more intentional, than streaming! Loving it so far
