Sitting a stewing in frustration isn't nearly as cathartic as just designing a poster. Let's see how often I remember that in 2026.

It's "politics shouldn't be such a big deal" and what they can't accept is that the politics of the moment are the problem not the attitude of the kids.

Roe was overturned three years ago! Politics are quite salient to relationships!
It's remarkable how consistently older media folks seem to think "wildly differing moral standards" shouldn't be a barrier to relationships.

Or really, shouldn't be a barrier for liberals. Because these are always a scolding of young liberal women.

Everyone has a list of so-called "red flags" when they're dating. And for some, especially younger Americans, different political views is a relationship deal breaker.

Growing up outside the norm, I learned a valuable lesson:
Some people will hate me for no other reason than I exist.
And that's okay.
I do not exist to please everyone.
I don't exist to please ANYONE.
I exist because forces I cannot control made me. They had no plan, no purpose for me.

Whoever said there was "nobility in suffering" was lying to your fucking face.
What they meant was "take my abuse and love it", and people bought it hook, line, and sinker!
The whole idea is rooted in the concept that some people deserve to suffer, that that suffering somehow makes the world better.
They think that to be trans is to be miserable. It's a cult of suffering, and it's fucking disgusting.

Prosecute them all. Beyond the depravity of this, it's pure theft. The local prosecutor should open an investigation and charge them all.
ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

New from me: The storied fiddler Ashley MacIsaac wanted to play a show at a Nova Scotia First Nation. It got cancelled because Google's AI search summary incorrectly called him a sex offender. Now he's worried for his safety www.theglobeandmail.com/culture/arti...

I really don't like systems that force libraries to pay-per-use and I wish libraries themselves were more upfront with users about how much every movie you take out from Hoopla or Kanopy is costing the library.

I mean, come on, people! I know you want Will's first crush to work out, but what's the stronger message:
"If you wait long enough, your straight crush will reciprocate your feelings"
Or
"Friendship can survive rejection, and get stronger"

It's important to note for the consultant people: Kat is tied for first place, she's raised more money in this race than anyone else, and she hasn't used Twitter in months.

It's a website filled with racist AI snuff films and it's rigged against you specifically. There's no good reason to use it.
This has always been a Bluesky-first campaign. But as of today, we will no longer be using Twitter. At all.

And I'm calling on other candidates to follow suit.

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

Ninety-four percent of participants in a new study stood firm in their trans identity after five years, and "detransitioning" is rare.

The games industry brings in 300 billion dollars a year. The guy who made DOOM gets his projects canceled, the guy who made Katamari Damacy is broke, everyone in your feed is begging for a job and there are 50 new games coming out on Steam every day all going towards buying Gabe Newell's next yacht
Keita Takahashi (Katamari, Wattam, Noby Noby Boy) has moved back to Japan, and says he may be forced to quit the games industry due to To a T underperforming.

He also says he'd love to work on Katamari again, and for someone to invest in his studio.

This column on Vox is the biggest pile of steaming AI crap I've seen this year. Human's aren't running out of ideas. Instead, those with power and money don't want to listen to ideas that threaten their power and money.

Ideas are plentiful. Putting those ideas into action is the hard part.
We’re running out of good ideas. AI might be how we find new ones.
What if the best use of AI is restarting the world’s idea machine?
