livetweeting the end of the world
and they’ll do nothing
so, this right here? this is one of the absolutely most lawless, brazenly unconstitutional impeachable offenses ever committed by any president other than trump in the history of our country.

like, this is an open and shut case. and it's a case which targeted *republicans.*
This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

in the 90s you would see white supremacists depicted this way in movies as an over-the-top caricature of villainous hate and now it’s just the operating principle of the ruling political party
mainstream MAGA media is just unvarnished white nationalism now
December 12, 2025 at 2:41 AM
an underrated part of being a racist piece of shit is the tacit acknowledgment that you’re knowingly a terrible person. “they want to make white people minorities everywhere!” so you agree? minorities are disproportionately mistreated? what majority is mistreating them right now?
Musk is just straight up white nationalist now.
(And helpfully decoding that Western Civilization=Whites)

anecdotally I think this has a lot to do with gen z/gen a young adults watching their less self-controlled friends absolutely obliterate their lives and futures through sportsbetting and it’s turned a lot of them off of it. and for good reason! unless you’ve been educated on how to be disciplined
Everywhere you look there is an opening for leadership.

What an irony that the Democratic consultant-pundit class fell into a poll-following Popularist obsession at a time of such volatility

important to remember that this was always exactly how he was and how he thought but had a slightly better bullshitting veil he could throw on it when the heat got too hot. now he knows he will never meaningfully be challenged on his virulent racism and can just let it loose
Trump: "Ilhan Omar, whatever the hell her name is. With her little turban. I love her. She comes in, does nothing but bitch ... we ought to get her the hell out ... she's here illegally."

The crowd in Pennsylvania then starts chanting "send her back!"

listening to this freak almost makes you wish great replacement was real just so that people like him stood a chance of being filtered out of existence in a few generations
Stephen Miller: “Clearly, we need to have in this country exactly what President Trump called for, which is that we need a moratorium on immigration from third world countries until we can heal ourselves as a nation.”

literally describing the public option which was the entire mechanism to make the aca function as intended without being astronomically expensive and of course Rand and his idiot brigade were opposed to it then too
Rand Paul on his healthcare plan: "What if you could join Costco? Costco has 44m members and if one person negotiated for all 44 and they bought a group plan like Toyota or General Motors does, they would be the largest collective entity in the country. They would drive prices down by sheer might."

history will remember him worse than taney because that was making abhorrent rulings based on ideological differences in belief about race, and this is just nakedly political expedience every step of the way. there’s nothing even faintly deeper than that. just power-grabbing for the sake of power

quick psa: if your stated political perspective is buoyed by the belief of “I’d really like to see them suffer…lose a limb and bleed out” you can be pretty goddamn certain that you aren’t the hero of the story
Megyn Kelly on alleged war crimes: "I really do kind of not only wanna see them killed in the water, whether they're on the boat or in the water, but I'd really like to see them suffer. I would like Trump and Hegseth to make it last a long time so they lose a limb and bleed out."

“they were perfect like my phone call where I got impeached” is the best thing he’s ever said. perfect encapsulation of the trump experience and also all but confirms the mri was for something serious and he’s shitting bricks over it

If you actually have to do work, AI often just makes more work because you have to spend so much time making sure it didn't lie to you again.
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.
