Can we all please report this individual who is stealing the work of real artists - including friends of mine - to feed into AI. Let’s keep BlueSky free of these parasites.

I enjoyed how they were in the bar in Vegas when at that time they should have been on track

I keep seeing takes that F1 is leaving IndyCar in the dust in America, but IndyCar found a way to embarrassingly link up with an unpopular despot of a country for a street race without even leaving its home market. That's innovation! F1 has to go to other continents to do that!

Tried increasing the brightness and removing shadows from the photo of Aston Martin’s AMR26.

Does indeed look very unique, like most of Adrian Newey’s creations.

In case you missed it; my dear friend victoria and I have a new podcast
hello I am launching my very own podcast with @jordanjamboree.pittbert.gay where we (mostly casually!) chat about car culture in the decline of the American empire, auto racing, and industry news interspersed with tales of our former auto journo careers. we call it TRAN GIRLISMO

We used to call it 'machine learning' and it was super useful for analysing large batches of images in scientific, medical, and historical research. But nobody used it to generate 'new' images based on real data because that was, and still is, extremely dumb.

I think there's something wrong with your vacuum cleaner

Fascinated by people who think the engines sound radically different

Yeah the thing that immediately pissed me off about this is how IT basics are taught in libraries and are essential to modern living and have huge - like years long - queues but where’s the funding for that?
if they can offer free AI training they could offer free media literacy training too. i know which of those would do more for the public good

Finding it very funny that F1 was too embarrassed to test in public but actually they are doing incredibly well and now are struggling to show off about it because no one can see it

Last year the drivers were all complaining about the new cars in the sim, but now they're out on track they're all "it's more predictable to drive, it's powerful, we have options"

Now we wait to hear from journalists pressed up against the wire fence at Catalunya

Yeah I don't want to rag on Barretto cause he's great, it's just this particular style they've gone for

McLaren with the skinny little nose, if the studio pics are the real car
January 26, 2026 at 9:33 AM
Aw a family of haters!
January 25, 2026 at 10:09 PM
People saying it sounds like AI. Yeah it does a bit – I hadn't picked up on that. Similarly I hate that faux playful tone AI assistants use despite not being real people. Uncanny and inauthentic and makes me distrustful.
January 25, 2026 at 9:57 PM
I think that is definitely some of it, though I don't mind them being playful. The fact that it's not a real person gives it a real contrivance? And also projects an idea if how it thing -I- am supposed to feel? It's weird and uncanny
January 25, 2026 at 9:56 PM
This is definitely a Me thing, not an objective assessment. It just grinds my gears as a structure style.
January 25, 2026 at 9:43 PM
I don't mean to be a hater or anything but I personally hate the style of article that's like a pretend interview with a silly enthusiastic naif and F1.com do it all the time
January 25, 2026 at 9:42 PM
If the cars break down in early testing that's fine. Finding the kinks it's part of the process.
