Just saw a tourism commercial for Torrance. What? What?!

Torrance may be the single least interesting place I have ever been in Los Angeles. Not bad! Just completely impossible for me to imagine it as a place one would vacation. Or even go, really.

Streaks like this are really important for morale and this week has been a nice trade appeal boost for every vet on roster. Can’t make a habit of it though. Gotta get back to losing as soon as possible.

I need Precious Achiuwa off the Kings because his effort level is too high. This is supposed to be an aimless take, stop making good things happen!

Our problem is that we haven’t been blaming enough things on sucker MCs. And we gotta!

You know who’s always pressuring podcasters to pivot to video? That’s right. Sucker MCs.

Who hasn’t been getting Joan Cusack good roles? Sucker MCs, that’s who.

Just realized that it is a HUGE night in the NBA for tanking. Pacers-Pels is a battle of 15-seeds, Kings-Wizards is a battle of 14-seeds, and the ever-present Nets lurking in 13th get a game against the final boss of Mid, the 2020s Chicago Bulls.

Funniest double big lineup I’ve seen in recent NBA history
We are getting Brook Lopez AND Yanic Konan Niederhäuser minutes together. It’s that kinda night.

I think the answer to "why is Walz using relatively mild rhetoric if the Trump admin is just going to investigate him anyway" may be hidden away in the sentence, you guys

it kind of feels like early internet days when companies didn't know how to use a website to make money

in like 2005 you could go to a fast food chain's website and rotate a picture of a burger and that's all

The little spat in quotes between Ford execs and Towriss is a pretty rough look for Ford. Cadillac is, objectively, a 2026 Formula 1 constructor. Ford has less space on the Red Bull livery than Infiniti!

The reason that all of this is going to end very quickly one day is that this is, basically, consensus of everyone in any form of power not either in the cult or taking a stand.
"Privately, several executives concede they have little appetite for kowtowing to Trump. But advisers say a pragmatic playbook has emerged: show up, make a promise grand enough to flatter the president, and then do as little as possible until his attention shifts elsewhere."

Bluesky is the official website of getting mad about strategy memos circulating among elected democrats. This is of course substantially better than the main unique thing that happens on the former Twitter, but still not a good use of time.

Kings fans remain lucky to have a national writer who is aware of what the long-term goals of the franchise are, even if it is just one guy. Just about everyone else I read has pretty much been of the opinion that the Kings should give up a first for him because "LOL, they're the Kings!!!"

Ja Morant's trade saga underscores the difference between teams simply showing interest in a player and legitimately pursuing him in a deal.
