Terrific article. We are handing over the future of education to a bunch of imperial techbros who absolutely hate critical thinking. www.currentaffairs.org/news/ai-is-d...
AI is Destroying the University and Learning Itself
Students use AI to write papers, professors use AI to grade them, degrees become meaningless, and tech companies make fortunes. Welcome to the death of higher education.

"Foundation" Season 3 was interesting. I've gone back and forth about whether it would be better if the show had stuck closer to the trilogy. Problem is it would've been like watching 300 years of C-Span. They made a good choice by trying to make the show its own thing. However, /1

Sign up for anti ICE patrols. Make whistle kits. Join grassroots orgs. Pitch in to your local mutual aid. Respect the picket line (or join!) Help your fellow humans however you can. This is how we get thru this.

I ran into an advocate who told me that the 9 men detained from Canal Street last month struggled to find legal representation. Historically, Black immigrants experience disproportionately *more* removals than any other group. Anti-Black racism fuels US immigration in *every* way.

The division of labor into "skilled" and "unskilled" was set up by capitalists to get the working class to fight against itself rather than unite. Remember that the next time you whine about how Starbucks workers "are just making coffee" and thus shouldn't get decent wages or working conditions.

Okay so I'm happy that the Epstein issue is coming to a head finally but where was this energy in 2021? Were the Dems afraid Bill Clinton was going wheeze up and shiv them from behind? This could've been decisive in derailing Drumpf 2.0. Instead they kept telling us how careful Garland was being.

MTG is going to try and be the Feyd-Rautha to Trump's Rabban. Pretend to be the "nice one." Talk about how we need to get back to "common sense" and "shared values." Fetterman etc will welcome her in. But really she's just another asshole installed by the real power (the Baron and the Emperor).

And just like that, the corporate Dems snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. They took a look at the Dem wins on Tuesday, the poll numbers showing GOP support tanking, the grassroots resistance to ICE fascists, and thought...

How can we be part of the problem instead of part of the solution?
