Congee, an Asian rice porridge, is a satisfying dish when your stomach is upset from worrying about this political turmoil. It’s also relatively inexpensive. Cook rice into a porridge with salted water. I added poached egg, grilled chicken, ginger, scallion, cilantro and red chile oil.
