I am not surprised, Labour are getting on with the job. However I dont give much credence to the so called news spouted by the reFUKKK / tory press.

I was quite surprised, given the amount of negative press that would have you believe that this government is the worst we’ve had yet.

Under the last Tory Govt, elected in 2019, of 42 Manifesto Pledges, only
2 were delivered in 5 years.
Under the current Labour Govt, elected in 2024, of 83 Manifesto Pledges, 57 are delivered (18), on track (19), or in process (20).

A Labour MP earlier today told me “Andy Burnham could make a great Labour leader in 3-4 years time, if he’d just shut the fuck up right now”.

Not sure he’s doing himself favours among potential supporters at the moment.

Burnham says Starmer's Labour Party has "a climate of fear". People are suspended for liking tweets and losing whip. "You can't be narrow and shallow, you need to have everyone in play." It is less tolerant of debate than Blair.

Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?
