I really like Barger at 3B (especially now that they don’t let him catch pop ups 😂) so I don’t mind not having IKF on the roster. IKF’s bat is such a platoon proof negative, his glove really doesn’t make up for it, in my hater-fueled opinion.

Santander looks okay at the plate. He could provide some serious damage if he really gets going.

IKF is a zero at the plate and likely cost them gm3 in the field.

Bruihl is likely off the roster because nobody has as many LHH as the Yankees. Nance will be interesting since he could barely get anyone out in the DS. We might see Bassitt & Scherzer.

In the spring of 1981, the Brewers were very close to trading Buck Martinez to the Yankees, but they were in the same division and the deal never happened.

That May, he was traded to the #BlueJays and thought: "Oh, fuck, that's the best they could do?"

Wrong then, never since.
