Today is the birthday of artist Stan Drake (Nov. 9, 1921-March 10, 1997). He is most known for drawing the newspaper comic strip, The Heart of Juliet Jones, from 1953 to 1989, the comic strip Blondie from 1984 until his death, and the Kelly Green graphic novels.

The simple truth is people love this stuff and will watch it if you let them, not by putting it behind a premium fee. I fell in love with these cartoons as a kid because they used to be on TV all the time so I could, ya know, watch them lmao.
After leaving HBO Max earlier this year, ‘Looney Tunes’ is a hit on Tubi, the company says, and popular across generations. It should be a model for every classic cartoons trapped in streaming limbo.
