A few years ago, my lab started a list of papers analyzing antigen-specific #Bcells w/ fluorescent probes via #flowcytometry. We are now releasing this list of 700+ papers as a searchable database on my lab website with a short overview. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
Bubble Chart displaying the different types of antigens targeted by B cells in the papers in the database so far. Antigens are grouped into the the viruses, bacteria, parasites, plants, animals, or other sources they come from. And the bubble sizes are scaled to represent how frequently those antigens have been used

If the immune system is an army...
...
would you rather rely on one “super warrior” — or on a diverse team of fighters, even if none of them is the single strongest?

I’d go with the team.

Why? Check out our new study, just published in Science Immunology: www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...

Imagine if British newspapers put only half the energy they spent obsessing over Starmer’s curry in Durham into covering the fact that a former top figure in UKIP, the Brexit Party and Reform UK has just pleaded guilty to eight counts of pro-Russian bribery.

Host-directed therapies for infectious disease are here & coming!

Simple equation proposed to consider best interventions:
⭐ Microorganism + immune response = clinical presentation/status ⭐

Will require futuristic-sounding real-time diagnostics = exciting!
