🚨 Delighted to share our paper defining a new role for IL-6 in TB. 🚨

We used genetic variation to show *reduced* IL-6 signalling is causally associated with *lower* risk of TB.

The key question is whether the dye is cast or if anything can genuinely shift the anti government sentiment. After all the simplest way to force a change of government is simply to vote for anyone but them!

Yeah I did wonder if it would affect Pubmed functionality. I suspect it largely runs itself and it is working fine. However you're right we should consider alternatives. Europe PMC works great

Good point. I am very happy to ignore / not see popular political content.

Happy it's there for the many that want to follow it, but personally I can't influence it and just stirs needless emotions in an otherwise already busy day!

Yes agree. Cost though is a difficult thing to critique, cos the price will never come down unless the technology is implemented more widely. So we need to foremost make a judgement on utility, then the economics will follow. That's just a personal opinion, so I could be wide of the mark.
