I live in Portugal where on any given day between 85% and 90% of its electricity comes from renewable sources. It’s not a wealthy country, but it’s not owned by the oil companies. EVs are plentiful here. The world is leaving the United States behind in so many ways.

One lesson from the Epstein–Mandelson affair is that we need to stop routinely rehabilitating political careers after serious scandals.
When politicians knowingly engage in grave ethical wrongdoing, that should permanently end their political careers. Being "talented" should not override that.

What I find amusing about the Express' cinematic universe is that the UK is simultaneously free and thriving thanks to Brexit and poor and oppressed thanks to the current government. This dichotomy is also reflected in Mail/Telegraph etc but its at its most acute in the Express.
