Oh, who knows. Perfect life simplicity engine, hurtling towards a chaotic breakfast
The brilliant thing about cooking a big ham and having people over, is you can give them some extra to take home and declare "a ham bag!" like a snacky Lady Bracknell

A little shout out to my Postie, who found the box that DPD had left at the bottom of the stairs for me (I was just getting my shoes on to go get it) and carried it up, with the box he was delivering.

That first part is really important, I think, the "maybe you didn't say the words but you joined a party that does, so you can't pretend it's not you"
If handing someone their arse, was a video clip

Fun old day. Spent longer than I'd like emailing parcel hoarders Evri, begging them to stop accepting deliveries to my flat as they don't come here and it's annoying watching things get returned every (ha!) time.
Then DPD tell me they delivered to my neighbour. I have never seen this door before.

Back on my nonsense (begging companies not to use Evri)

Some arsehole has left all the clean laundry on my bed.
And because I live alone, it's me who has to tidy up. Again.

Last train home after a gig in Glasgow. Train heaving as another gig also in Glasgow tonight, so heaps from the Hydro plus a smaller crew of us from the Barras. Noticeable difference from 20 years ago: the last train home is busy and buzzy, but not drunk and shouty

I thought I'd lost my credit card, and was worried, then I looked for it, in the places it might be, and it was in the second place I checked.
Will I learn to do other tasks right away? No, I shouldn't think so. I think I'll learn that later.

I saw walrus this year and fell in love with them. They are 75kgs as babies! They sleep in heaps not for warmth but because they just like it! Their teeth can get stuck in the ice if they lie on their fronts!

It stopped raining, so the busker I hate is back. Sadly, cold doesn't work. Still, that run of rainy days was nice

What do you even do if you're in Jamaica right now? Go to high ground away from the sea, but how do you shelter everyone from those winds?

I pet a nice little dog today. She was wearing a knitted jumper with foxes on it.

If you're looking at waterslides, it's flumescrolling
If you're looking at witches it's Broomscrolling
If you're staring intently at the grass on a Welsh mountain looking for a specific type of fungi in late autumn it's shroomscrolling.

Today on walkies, we had a guest star, Flynn the dog. She's very pretty black lab type and did Sit and Wait for treats from me. What a good girl! (Patrick is dog sitting)

Bloom & Wild deliver my regular flowers. Today they contain lillies. My instructions are very clear, no lillies in this house, because 1- they kill cats and I have cats that visit, and 2- they make me feel trapped and like I'm dying.
I emailed them, quite cross. And they? Blamed the postman.
