Gresham's law of the internet is the name given to a supposition that unmoderated spaces will always become Nazi hellholes that drive out all good content, alienating posters who aren't Nazis.

I can certainly think of one analogue for all of us here on Bluesky.

Gresham’s Law of the Internet
Content moderation isn’t “censorship.” It’s what built the Internet.

My husband @robertcooper-us.bsky.social and I were the FIRST gay couple to adopt children in this country. We adopted our first baby back in 1985, and eventually adopted five in all. Here’s a pic of our two oldest kids meeting their younger brother for the first time. We later adopted twin girls! ❤️

I started being regularly published when I was 25. I didn't make my first dollar writing until I was 30. I didn't sell my first novel or screenplay until I was 35. Many of you hadn't even heard of anything I'd written until I was over 40.

You have time. There is no expiration date on writers.

Terrible Game Idea: IKEA roguelike. Traverse a maze of furniture, collect random trinkets with unpronounceable names, try to find the exit.

They spent the past few weeks telling us to leave Twitter, and then they come here to harass?

Fuck that bullshit. Kick these annoying asshats all the way off the platform, PLEASE.

Nobody has time for that shit.

The guy can't even capitalize anything right. Like, I know how much he might want it to be, but he's not speaking German. Not every noun needs to be Proper-ized. God, what a shitshow.

Imma need some of you to think about thriving out of spite. I had big plans for 2025 and I’m definitely not gonna pre-derail them for likes of Elin and Tromp. I’m getting more involved. Loving harder. Writing hornier. Having more fun. I’m gonna be so kind to my neighbors, bitch.

SEMO resident here. our school tax was around $900. we're on welfare. and I've been to the schools here personally as a student - where on earth is all our money even going? sure wish they told us. or have they? I only recently realized I need to pay attention.

The price of GOP rule? Failing infrastructure at every point. Missourians pay an extra $700 a year for car maintenance. Wheels, tires, windshields, alignments. We pay.

From bad roads to defunded schools to closing hospitals, this is oligarchy. Skimping on services to send tax breaks to the wealthy.
