In the end we're often taught to be comfortable in what we shouldn't be, and not comfortable what we should be.

And to recalibrate those comfort levels appropriately, we need a lot of patience with ourselves to permit going against our primary emotions.

If with that, you mean doing things that are going against what you've been taught because you need to well, go against what you've been taught, there is no easy answer unfortunately.

It takes a lot of effort to heal. Therapy is not just talking and being provided the answer, for this exact reason.

LLMs are doubly deceptive. Most people think that they can ask it a question and get an answer. The majority of the rest think that you can ask an LLM a question and it will return what an answer might look like, statistically.

But it's actually even worse. It doesn't "read" the prompt; it guesses.

Cashew nuts, freshly roasted, are so goddamn good. We also sometimes put them in curry which I can recommend depending on the taste of the curry.

While getting older does mean less flexibility to changes, over the past 10 years big tech in particular has really, truly, made it an art to make changes worse.

The latest efforts to put AI in fucking everything has been the biggest torture.
