It's a unique kind of sadness to have a creative soul, but a mind that can't focus. There are so many things I want to do, am interested in etc, but I can't manage to find the motivation and energy to even consider starting them.

I used to confuse romance & sexuality with emotional hunger — trauma does that. You grow up thinking touch = safety, so you fake “normal” until you realize you were starving for understanding.
