#modelrailroading now that I have heat in the basement, I can actually work on my layout. I wanted some elevation for a few of the buildings I plan on adding just to give the layout some depth.You can probably tell where I started. Also a few pictures of some earlier work that still needs finished.

I think this is ultimately what I'm gonna go for with my 3x5' HO scale bedroom layout
Loop of track with an inner passing line
And then I'll throw a hill with a tunnel somewhere on the right side, with a station along the bottom middle :3

Roadbed down, now we could start laying the track! Starting by caulking it to the roadbed, then wiring it all for DCC.
Found another snag: the tunnel portals I’d gotten weren’t wide enough! So they would have to be modified to fit.
