It's fascinating how little race is explored in fanfictions with human Alastor and Charlie, especially since Alastor is obviously a mixed-race Black man who wouldn't be able to marry Charlie due to miscegenation laws. 94% of Americans disapproved of interracial marriage as late as 1958. #charlastor
