Never lose sight of how weird and corrupt it is for the president to have his unelected, unconfirmed oligarch friend—his biggest campaign donor—conduct US foreign policy.

No other US president did that, and there’s no reason to think he’s representing the American people rather than himself.

Reminder that wellness grifters like Trump’s new Surgeon General Casey Means spread misinformation about vaccines and health because it is extremely profitable for them to do so.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

An upside of these tariffs is that it's going to make the airport Duty Free stores a lot more exciting.

Think about this for five seconds. Would America be richer if 100 percent of all American cars were built domestically but the rest of the free world diversified away from US software and financial services? Would you trade trillion dollar companies for billion dollar companies? That's the trade!

The first thing I noticed about this visit is that he's clearly cosplaying Zelensky while he's at this base.

This is never going to happen. Cars are sold on pretty slim margins and the companies have shareholders to answer to.

Way to go, West Virginia
West Virginia has banned foods containing most artificial food dyes and two preservatives, citing their potential health risks. It's the first state in the U.S. to ban virtually all artificial dyes from foods sold statewide.

It's really noticeable how it's impossible to tell if traffic is coming on neighborhood streets in a way that just wasn't an issue 10 years ago. It's a daily problem for me.

One of many annoying side effects of sedans and hatchbacks mostly dying out in favor of taller SUVs and trucks is that they're too tall to see over while riding a bike.

Is it possible for this to get better? Like way better? Could we regulate or pressure tire companies into using less harmful materials like we've done in so many other industries? I feel like they lack pressure to innovate here.

I feel like everything in politics right now is because conservatives were served a paper straw one time and they just couldn't handle it.

I was convinced recently (Today Explained, I think) that this isn't as crazy as it seems. It was something like, with fluoride in your toothpaste, it's not that useful in water. Meanwhile, we don't really know what a safe amount of fluoride is, but we know that fairly small amounts cause harm.

Walmart called the police on a cis-woman using the women's bathroom.

Even after proving she's a woman, "one deputy continued to question her appearance, insisting she 'looked like a man.'"
