That’s what’s up.

Phish at the Worcester Centrum on 11/27/98.

Released as LivePhish Vol 6.

Known to fans as the “‘Wipeout’ show.”

Phish jet-packing around in (blow) door-down mode.

Oh, you like Phish?

Name three shows that disappointed you.

My contribution to today’s gathering. I’m the Brussels sprouts specialist. The prep is a bit time-consuming and you need serious quantity for it to look bountiful after cooking down (this is ~6 pounds), but many are delighted to have the option to eat it!

Mr. Mamdani: “Affordability” includes YEMSG!

This was so real in the late ‘90s, except replace talking about Phish with couch space to nap.
I repost this every thanksgiving 🤣

🤔
huh. well look at that.

starting around the 10min mark of the 11.26.97 Gumbo Trey introduces an idea (following Mike honestly) that sure sounds an awful lot like the roots of the theme that informs some pretty fantastic jams like The Raleigh Tweezer

where's our Vegas weatherman when you need him?
November 26, 2025 at 3:32 PM
I loved the Beacon Jams at the time. It was a real gift! ❤️

But this is the only pandemic-era thing that I’ve seen anyone try to do a nostalgic anniversary thing about, and I say just let it be.

Start a new, Thanksgiving-week thing perhaps. But I’m not looking for any 2020 commemorative coins.
November 26, 2025 at 3:28 PM
The dirty secret is that in a tour with only one great Tweezer, Hartford is the best one that isn’t 12/6/97. (Hartford’s is *extremely* similar to Denver but I clock it as slightly better.)
Happy Orpheum Bowie Day!
Happy Hartford Zero->2001->Cities->Ya Mar Day!

frankly, you should be spinning that whole Hartford 97 show. the balance of the Minneapolis 94 show ain't too shabby neither

Did heart and lung disease do this
BREAKING: The Trump EPA is abandoning a rule that would strengthen limits on air pollution.

The EPA will no longer defend Biden-era limits on fine-particle pollution, which causes heart and lung disease.

Scientists say this move could lead to dirtier air and more deaths.

LIBRARIES ARE ESSENTIAL TO HUMAN CIVILIZATION
Sometimes I think it’s going to be the librarians who will save us all.

It is a mathematical certainty that the answer to the question “How many dumplings can I eat?” is always identical to the answer to the question “How many dumplings are available?”
my problem with gyoza is that they normally come in an order of about 6, but what I really need is 100 of them

I think Death of a Salesman could have been a hit musical if only Arthur Miller had given Willy Loman one of these babies.

“This is the water, and this is the well. Drink full, and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes, Charlie Brown, and dark within."
"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we have a full tank of gas, half a packet of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses, Charlie Brown"
"I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore, Charlie Brown."

The “gotcha!” inanity of DC press is mind-numbing.
He's the mayor-elect of America's largest city and financial capital. What kind of a question is this?

Before everything was a “journey,” did we just say “I did a thing”? I guess so.

@mikelowetpt.bsky.social Bunch of amazing sounding MMW/Cline shows. Definitely a different flavor than the Sco stuff

You want all of this. Trust me. Talk about a sonic journey!

it is frankly a *scathing* indictment of the White House press corps
I’ve been thinking and it’s kind of exceptional that not a single person said “Hey now” after the piggy comment.
