The issue usually isn’t the current comms people it’s that the elected officials and their top aides sideline and push out comms people who repeatedly suggest more direct, aggressive approaches. This is what they want. They are generally very conflict and risk averse.

I don’t think it’s great that all Obama seems to be able to do is recommend an article to read or a podcast to listen to.
If Congress doesn’t act, the last nuclear arms control treaty between the U.S. and Russia will expire. It would pointlessly wipe out decades of diplomacy, and could spark another arms race that makes the world less safe. This piece is worth the read.

I think it should be politically disqualifying that Adrian Boafo, senior federal lobbyist for Oracle, concurrently serves in the Maryland House of Delegates (and before that the Bowie City Council). Yet, now he thinks he can represent progressive causes for Maryland’s 5th Congressional District.
Oracle vibrates with evil, and profits off of it too. It aggressively bullies its customers while providing little assistance to make its horrible products work, and finds every opportunity to increase pricing, even if it needs to sue.
