Me when artists I'm excited about open comms: "omg which OC haven't I sent them? I've sent them all, really? Surely I must have more OCs I've forgotten about..." (I do). Then I get into paralysis trying to figure out pose, outfit, etc. 😩

Just as a sanity check I tested Chat GPT image generation and see how the current model deals with art direction. Still absolute garbage.
A) there is a 5 img generation limit without paying money. Which is the reason, the web is full of just first diceroll image slop. /1

Thread exposing how inept AI is at actually creating what you want it to- more proof that this can never replace actual human artists, even if we’re only talking about the commercial realm.

Just gonna say since we're already talking about unionizing game writers: hey, maybe let us localizers in on those talks, too, because it's pretty fucking rough out there, even in AAA. I'd probably have three times as many credits if we were unionized and I'm one of the lucky ones with any at all.
