Looking at the full credit list (www.mobygames.com/game/245425/...), most of the people in the Contractors category are not even credited under "real" role names, simply "Contractor", "Embark Team" or "Special Thanks".

No mention of voice acting or localization either.

Unless there is another credits sequence I'm unaware of, Tales of Xillia Remastered also fails to credit its English localizers (both past and present), as well as its English voice actors, continuing the trend of Tales games omitting these people in the credits. #TranslatorsintheCredits

Halloween draws near, and you know what's truly scary? Being made as invisible as a ghost by a bunch of corporations, buried under literally everybody else in a credit roll. Such as here in The Quarry (2022), a title localized in 19 languages. And of course, no #TranslatorsInTheCredits... 👻

Hell Is Us by #RogueFactor and published by @nacon.bsky.social does not credit its translators.

Only this year, ACE Agency has failed to provide the names of its contractors in two more games:

Casual reminder that it was shortly after the release of Tales of Xillia that Tales games actively stopped crediting their English localizers. Bonus fact: Did you know that it's basically the only best-selling JRPG series to have this issue?

Did you know that as of 2014, the "Tales of" RPG series actively stopped crediting their English localizers, with the sole exception of Tales of Berseria (2017)? That's pretty sad for a genre that supposedly lives or dies based on the quality of its writing! #TranslatorsintheCredits

Wheel World by @messhof.bsky.social / @annapurna.com, localized in 11 languages, does NOT feature any #TranslatorsInTheCredits. Only the localization agency, EDS Wordland Ltd., is credited.

(LSPs can be skeevy, though: some don't pay their linguists very well, and others don't put their names in the credits.

Continuing the trend, ISLANDERS: New Shores (@coatsink.com) was also localized by Localize Direct, and doesn't include any #TranslatorsInTheCredits.

In #DeathStranding2, translators and voice actors are credited. Unfortunately, @playstation.com fails to credit the Localization Project Managers, as we've seen in #StellarBlade and #Helldivers2.

Lionbridge is possibly behind the localization, but it can't be confirmed based on the credits alone.

For our first official post on Bluesky, we would like to talk about the recent release of Atomfall by @rebellion.com.

Despite being available in 11 languages, the game doesn't feature any #TranslatorsInTheCredits and only includes Lionbridge Games.

Speaking of workers' rights, it seems Koei Tecmo's Atelier Yumia does not credit most of its translators. The credits only feature a few names assumed to be in-house staff and a collection of LSPs.
