They’ve played some very good defenses, early, but everyone in the organization needs to wear this. Like Stef says: not good enough, not trending in a cohesive direction, and not winning enough confidence from folks to believe it should continue.

Per @trumedia.bsky.social the Browns are currently tied for the third-longest streak of games (10) scoring less than 20 points since 2000.

The 2005 Ravens and 2021 Lions each hit that mark too. 2 teams had longer streaks: Washington between 03-04 (12) & Arizona between 00-01 (13)

Last season and a half has been an absolute slog. Not threatening anyone, continual self inflicted penalties and poor discipline, and no interest at a functional skill group on offense.

I just can’t believe this WR group was not only the plan, but also where they are investing $$ (Jeudy) and snaps (Bond)

I remember at one point marveling at the creativity and the layers of answers available for mid range QBs….ive seen better game plans for Lauletta, Mullens, keenum, etc.

If your strategy for building a functional offense is this group of WRs, this offensive game plan, and this reliance on 12+ play drives where no one steps on their dick or missies an assignment is a losing one.

Expecting the defense to keep it under 20 every week is also a losing one.

Sincerely shocked that the Browns going ultra conservative, immediately surrender cobra turtle mode, and getting zero first downs with 330 left and the ball put you in a bad spot.
