I wish I could say I learned through this just through my own insight and wisdom, but the truth is I smashed myself against the rocks several times and had my need for expression and love for design outweigh that need for validation. But I have learned some things i can share...
As someone who is new in this space, I definitely struggle with searching for validation in TTRPGs. Obviously it's bad for my mental health, but any tips that helped you learn that lesson?

My zoning code would only have two rules: glass tower skyscrapers should be adjacent from stonework ornamented ones to maximize cool reflections and there should be a Jamba Juice in every airport terminal. Otherwise, build whatever you want.

It's important to note that Geoff Keighley's mother and father are high ranking executives for IMAX and he is independently wealthy and could give every award winner free plane fare to the event if he wanted to but instead pretends to be broke and says everything is about making money instead.
Devs were only allowed a few (I believe two) tickets per nomination before Geoff charged them. Resale tickets were in the hundreds. And we all know what happened to Future Class (if you don’t, read my piece).
