The four-year-old got given some "reading positivity" stickers and spent the morning making a sticker wall. He just proudly showed me his two favourites.

Has the Edge Hill short story prize disbanded? Haven't seen any info on the 2025 prize in months, and it would be an enormous shame if it has ended.

My new novella BODIES OF WORK arrived and it may be one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever gotten my hands on. Too bad the story inside is probably one of the weirdest, darkest things I’ve ever written… but that’s kinda the point, yeah? On shelves April 7th! Thank you @titanbooks.bsky.social

Reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with the eldest. When Charlie finds the Golden Ticket he finds that the factory tour is scheduled for the very next day, so what was Wonka going to do if no one found the fifth Golden Ticket, or any for that matter? Or worse, if someone found it late??
