There are so many fucked up things with the current administration that it's hard to focus on one but this recent move is basically a death sentence for the planet. I've been involved with more boots on the ground actions over the years than I can count and this really bums me out.

The Right to repair crowd makes some good points. A perfect example is the appliance industry, where you can buy a washing machine for $500, but if the computer board fails they’ll charge you $400 for a new one. People will often buy a brand-new machine as it’s only $100 more (and has a warranty).
