Carney says no to supply management changes.

Even if we did allow more US dairy in Canada (to keep Trump happy) would anyone buy it? I know I wouldn’t even if it was cheaper. Don’t need hormones and antibiotics in my dairy.

Prime Minister Mark Carney reaffirmed he’ll protect Canada’s supply management system, as the United States signalled it's ready to fight over this country's dairy rules at the negotiating table.

#DairyQueen #BreakIn

Went for lunch at Dairy Queen and noticed the cake freezer door was damaged. Asked the staff what happened and apparently someone broke into the store and couldn’t get any money so they stole a bunch of frozen cakes instead.

Probably worth more than any cash in the till. 😉

The Christmas tree this year. My wife is from the Philippines and they’re serious about Christmas decorations. They start in September. 😯

We wait much later than that. 😉

This is an old video, and done in the typical propaganda style of American exceptionalism of the era, but is interesting to watch.

Even in 1953 it was understood how important tool & die makers are to the manufacturing industry.

Time to brag a little.

Burnaby recently installed this pedestrian/cyclist bridge to cross the #1 highway. A significant expense at around $25 million.

Their claim Apple is dragging their feet on RCS encryption and that Google has encryption. This is false.

Google uses their own proprietary version of encryption added…

I hope they’re stupid enough to release them with the names of people they hate (like any possible Democrats) while protecting their own and watching it backfire on them.

I’d bet $$$ that anyone named would spill the beans on others who were redacted but they know were there.
The Justice Department has 13 days to release the Epstein documents. The FBI paid nearly $1M in overtime to redact the FILES. Do you think congress will actually get to see everything? I highly doubt it. 🔄

Repost:

There are 400+ vehicle fires resulting in 1.5 fatalities every single day in the US. You never see them on the news. But a single EV catches fire it’s suddenly front-page news.

It’s the same with Waymo and accidents. There’s a coordinated effort to prevent these technologies from adoption.
getting kinda negatively polarized on self driving (waymo, not Tesla) bans. they do cost

like the technology clearly works and is viable for at least intra-city transit, at a certain point the distracted, drunk, et. driving deaths are in fact actively on the people seeking to delay it's deployment

Not for the next 30 days. Canada suspended EV rebates but GM has their own until Jan 2, 2026. $7,000 off most models.

A base Equinox EV (513kms range) is now $41K, $2k less than the EV5 Light with only 335kms range.

But the real deal is the Blazer SS at $70K. Cheapest 600HP car around.

Picked up some bubble tea at Coco tonight and was surprised by the tip options on the payment terminal.

With so many places having the minimum at 15%, 18% or even 20% (requiring you to manually enter a smaller number) they had tip options of 5%, 8%, 10% and 15%.

One can only hope, but I’ve seen far too many things that should have ended Trump and they had no effect. His base is so radical even when faced with evidence many will just believe it’s a Dem ploy using fake AI pictures to smear their deal leader.
