The oldest Mesolithic human remains yet found in Britain belonged to a 2.5-3.5-year-old girl. Found in a cave in Cumbria. Stretches the Mesolithic cave burial ‘tradition’ back a bit and pretty far north given looks to be just after the end of the Younger Dryas.
