I would still like to staff on a television show btw. A live action half hour comedy would be very good. Or a WGA covered adult animated half hour. Just saying!!!!! thanks
everyone who’s saying Wicked For Good isn’t as fun or as good as Wicked is dumb actually!!! Sorry you didn’t know that in musical theatre act one is fun and games and act two is it falls to shit but that’s on you!!! Wicked For Good is an excellent representation of act two. A spectacle and a vision

it used to be a rarity to find typos in books and was once amusing to find them in tv captions…… now? Standard. Because no human is doing a pass on the copy. Anyway I am presently looking for work
Every day I see spelling and grammar mistakes in ads, TV chyrons, and other places where, in the past, it would be deeply embarrassing and a deal breaker for the source, but now they just fly, and where are the editors. Just hire me or something, damn.
Tell me, bro, where is your EDITOR?

I’ve spent 40 minutes trying to get both Hulu and HBO Max to work on my LG tv and neither will play anything once selected. I can navigate the apps then once I choose something I get error codes. I’m about ten minutes of frustration away from cancelling my apps and switching back to cable

I love the way if you turn off AI in Gmail, it removes your tabs along the top and dumps everything into the main inbox instead, even though those predated AI by years.

Talk about spiteful little fucks.

Time to move past the neverending trial stage. Yes, basic income reduces homelessness.
An Oregon pilot program giving cash to homeless youths sees a staggering reduction in homelessness. The program gave participants $1,000 cash payments each month for two years, and at the end of the project's first phase, 91% of participants reported being in stable housing.

I had forgotten about this essay I wrote years ago but was reminded of it today so I'm sharing it (again). I've been missing my dad a lot as of late and haven't watched Good Place since the finale aired (which I talk about in this piece) but maybe it's time for a rewatch. medium.com/@danielle.we...

Mo'ne Davis spent years telling people that she was done playing baseball. She did not want to be forever defined by what she did as a 13-year-old in Little League, a decade ago, and she did not feel like there was space for her to do much else. And then she felt differently. On Davis and the WPBL:

For the first time in my career, I can’t tell people to trust what the CDC website says. And that is an incredibly sad and devastating place for this country to be.
CDC has overhauled its website to assert that “the claim ‘vaccines do not cause autism’ is not an evidence-based claim”
