Hey ALXSkeets: Does anyone possibly have a metal shovel/mattock/similar tool that I could possibly borrow tomorrow afternoon? My snow buddy has this one very persistent icy patch surrounding her trash can…

(My car is also free now, so I’m more mobile and flexible now).

Thanks!!

Why do they all have "comically American character in an anime"-ass names
Turning Point USA has announced the performers for their alternative Super Bowl halftime show:

Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett

If Trump has lost the sundown towns, than it has never been more Joever for MAGA

(Probably not actually the case, but I want to believe…)
I was curious about whether this was just named after somebody named “White” but no they literally called it this because it was a settlement of white people
This race was such a massive swing blowout that Democrat Taylor Rehmet literally won a city called White Settlement

I would have the Criterion Collection

Like, the whole entire collection
If I was a billionaire I would not take trips to Crime Island. I would own The Simpsons arcade machine

Hey glasses-wearers of Bluesky: Quick poll, how often do you replace your lenses and/or frames?

Just a reminder, the greatest living American historian filmmaker, Ken Burns, released a 720 min exploration of every facet of the American revolution using zero generative AI and paying for all of its assets instead of cobbling it from stolen data, then he gave it away for free on PBS this year.
First trailer for Darren Aranofsky's new AI animated series 'On This Day... 1776'

• Tells short narrative stories about the Revolutionary War

• Uses Gen AI tools, including tech made by Google DeepMind

Co-sign, I doubt a lot of 22 year olds are on Bluesky but if you are, absolutely don’t forget to have fun with life, you’re not getting that time back
I am just baffled by guys who use their 20s like this. You're really setting yourself up for a lifetime of regrets and unhappiness if you don't use your 20s to figure out how to be social and happy. Don't be the guy who has a LinkedIn full of posts and not an Instagram.

Last week in Minnesota, I watched ordinary people risk their lives to protect their neighbors. In the process, they not only won a significant—though not final—victory against authoritarianism, they proved virtually every MAGA social theory wrong. (gift link) www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

Hi ALX: This is a long shot, but does anyone happen to live near Landover St. or Manning St., and has a metal shovel that I could borrow this afternoon (like pictured)? Unfortunately, since the person I'm helping for Snow Buddies has a very large property I still have a lot of ice to clear. Thanks!

Looking at how much better other “millennial” franchises are holding up than HP (Marvel, Star Wars, not to mention Pokémon is even bigger than it used to be), this is first and foremost just a Franchise Skill Issue

Younger generations “have fallen out of love with Harry Potter because they have fallen out of love with the worldview the series represents,” writes Louise Perry. “Which is to say that young people have fallen out of love with liberalism.”
