Went to sleep around 8pm last night.
Not in a theater, but a drive-in, Jaws. I was 2, in my Dad's van, I was sitting between the front seats. The first shark jump scare scared my mom, who threw the bowl of popcorn she was holding onto my head.
I don't have many, if any, other memories until I was 4 or 5.

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

The idea that an LLM could dialog with a human is absurd. There's no there there.😂
people whose brains don't turn to mush by employing AI are largely using them as one-way tools for actions on information—not dialogue. dialogue with AI seems to be uniformly the activity of thoughtless solipsists and sensitive people who don't realize they're fascinated by their own mental activity
