Democrats should just start insisting that they saw very real videos of people rioting at Mar-a-Lago -- overturning golf carts, setting fire to the brunch buffet, stabbing busboys with carving knives, whatever -- and calling on Trump to send the Illinois National Guard there to restore order.

Great idea! FYI I had to essentially do the same thing when MPA rated my film 18 1/2 “R” for one utterance of one word (and no, not the f word). We had to do a quick sound remix to get a PG-13. Point is: This isn’t just history, it’s a contemporary issue filmmakers deal with.

Carly Simon deservedly won the Oscar for this song - perfect marriage of picture and music. (But wow - hits much harder post 9/11.) Also, the song melody repeats throughout the film in the score and end credits. Makes audience remember it even more. (Was talking to my composer about this recently)
