Massive amount of Sloes this year, a loaded tree at the end of my driveway. The birds will have a feast!...... EXCEPT this tree has been marked with a red cross and is due to be felled because council have deemed it is dead or dying. Some signs of decay but tree is very much alive. #trees #uktrees

It’s a fact that only half of Briton’s fly in any given year and just 10% of us are taking 50% of all flights. We should take VAT off our energy bills and stick it on flying and other things that are a nice to have after you pay the bills.

This is state-sanctioned slaughter. Year after year, licences have allowed thousands of baby gannets to be killed in Scotland’s so-called ‘Guga Hunt’. Even in 2025, nearly 500 chicks were massacred under licence — paid for by taxpayers, justified as ‘tradition’, and carried out in secret.
