I tend to keep world events mostly the same, with some minor tweaks (i.e. my wol being an immortal flames soldier prior to MSQ)

my biggest diversions from canon tend to be additions to it to add depth to the story, or deviating from the established reactions/dialogue to fit my wol's personality.

Hissera: She's a pretty basic cook, but she loves to experiment with cocktails. Her favorite is probably some sort of vodka with a chili-infused syrup.

Faustus: He has a killer pound cake he can dress up or keep basic. Rogue dexterity means he can put plenty of little frosting details.
