Looking down through the trees at the braided, cerulean blue, South Fork of the Skokomish River. There are many types of evergreen and deciduous trees along the river bank. My bicycle (Kona Sutra LTD) is on a closed gravel road illuminated by sun light coming through a break in the trees.The tree lined road stretches out into the distance. Steam rises from a damp fallen tree as the midday sun shines through the verdant forest. A PNW forest scene with ferns, moss and many different leafy plants. It appears that almost every shade of green is present.

Eight-spotted Forester Moth, Alypia octomaculata. The iridescence visible on the black scales is quite common on many moths that at a distance appear black, looking closer reveals such beauty.

Reminder: All it would take to end the murder of American citizens by an untrained government goon squad is 16 Republicans in Congress voting with Dems to defund ICE (or 23 to impeach and remove Trump — 3 in House & 20 in Senate). That’s it. 23 Americans can vote for the public and end all of this.

Republicans could end this it any time and I think every single Republican member of Congress should be asked daily why they continue to allow this. They are cowards who want to destroy our country and should have to carry that shame.
