After years of contemplating how we can resolve and “fix” racism I keep going back to this quote from 1938

While I agree, I think the sense of panic makes sense. We looked at early moves as a trend. Meanwhile, the market is shrinking and fans see other teams throwing money and players around. Media is reporting less and less about Orioles’ plans which just adds to that panic
