The Nobel Committee should have just released a statement like:

President Trump was under consideration for this year’s Peace Prize, but upon review, renaming the Department of Defense to Department of War was a bridge we could not cross. It is fundamentally at odds with the spirit of the prize.

I’m worried for my friends in Ecuador, a country that welcomed me for a few years.

Releasing that illegal boat bomb survivor and making a public display of the lack of any evidence of a crime will put them in the crosshairs. It sounds a lot like this latest boat may have been in/near their waters.
